Glenn&Ronan join Oscar Wilde Awards lineup

December 2, 2016.  Irish duo Glenn&Ronan will perform at the US-Ireland Alliance’s annual Oscar Wilde Awards on 23 February 2017 at J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot in Santa Monica.  They will open for Glen Hansard, who is also being honored at the event.  Abrams will emcee.  Lexus will sponsor the concert.

Glenn Murphy and Ronan Scolard have had an incredible year.  A video of their performing an Adele medley went viral in March, racking up over 25 million views and leading to an invitation to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.  Then Adele invited them on stage to perform the medley at her sold-out Dublin show. That was followed by months performing at 80 sold out shows across North America as special guests for Celtic Woman.

Glenn&Ronan released their debut single, “Come Home”, in September and today, on iTunes, release “All Of The Stars”, by Ed Sheeran and Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol.  Produced in Ireland by Chris O’Brien and Graham Murphy for Liffey Records, the single showcases the duo’s stunning vocal talents.

Private airline Zetta Jet, headquartered in Singapore with an office in Los Angeles, will also be a sponsor of this casual, intimate, popular Oscars’ week party.
